About

Elizabeth Cooper started her eponymous interior design firm in 2008 after studying art history in college and working at Sotheby’s auction house and for a Jackson Square antiquarian in San Francisco.  She then went onto work for the esteemed interior designer Martha Angus for several years.  While working with Martha Angus, she was the senior designer on numerous residential projects and decorator showhouse rooms in San Francisco, at Kips Bay, and the House & Garden Hampton Designer Showhouse.

Elizabeth Cooper Interior Design is based in New York and San Francisco.  It is a high-end, full service residential design firm. Her work ranges from city apartments, to east coast beach houses, and mountain lodges.  She’s known for creatively mixing periods, styles, colors, and patterns. She is always on the look-out for distinctive pieces on her travels.

Elizabeth feels that houses are a very personal reflection of the people who live there and works closely with her clients to reflect their unique aesthetic sensibility.
